Longing for the homeland

Poster:

• Transtaltion: “Longing for my homeland if I breath my last. Take my body back to where I come from. Let me be burried in the sands of Thar. I will live if I am burried there.”
• Acrylic paint on canvas mounted on sturdy mdf board. Inscription is heat fused vinyl.
• Taken from the poetry of famous mystic Sindhi poet who wrote it more than 300 years ago. It describes the undying love of Marvi, the heroine, for her people and the land of her birth.
• Size 53 cm (L) x 33.5 cm (W).
