Poster Shah – Karayun

Folklore Poster:

• Transtaltion: “Wearing fake bangles worth crore (to them). This is the trait of my folks, others feel abashed to mimic.”
• Taken from the poetry of famous mystic Sindhi poet who wrote it more than 300 years ago. It describes the undying love of Marvi, the heroine, for her people and the land of her birth.
• Acrylic paint, dipicting sand dunes, on canvas custom mounted on mdf. Inscription is heat fused black vinyl.
• Size 37 cm (W) x 33 cm (H).
