Who am I?
I am an art lover who is inspired by the calligraphy and the mystic poetry of the east.
My paintings derive their themes from folklore hundreds of years old.
I am captivated by the ancient poets’ command of languages and their deep observation of nature and human emotions.
I’m deeply fascinated by ancient stories in which heroines are empowered and take the central stage. They show unbelievable strength of character, steadfastness and resilience in their struggle to be one with their beloved.
What I do...
I create beautiful works of art to adorn your surroundings. I combine the ancient art of calligraphy with modern techniques to create plaques, posters, paintings, textiles and gifts.
My media of expression include plywood, particleboard, acrylic and canvas amongst others.
I also experiment with T-shirts, pouches and tote bags.
I use acrylic paints, heat transfer vinyl and golden metallic leafing.
